Lowe's Recalls Storage Bins

Something in your home could pose a danger to your child.

Lowe's is recalling almost 85,000 of these storage bins because of high lead levels in the paint.

The bins are pink or green, and were sold at Lowe's stores from March 2007 through February 2008 for about six dollars.

You can take them back to Lowe's for a refund.

Click the "Related Link" above for details on the recall. It includes a number for Lowe's import division. Let THEM know you're disappointed.

Here we go agin.I dont know where they were made but ive got a pretty good guess, not here.We need to support AMERICIAN buissness and quit buying overseas products.I know it cost a little more but there is a good reason, its AMERICIAN made by AMERICIANS just like you and me there trying to SUPPORT a family just like youres and mine.I own a small motorcycle repair busissness and i see it everyday.Such and such has the same part for half the price. You take it out of the box and the chrome has allready fallen off,or the part just plain wont fit,i could go on for days.

Carry the storage bins back for the refund? My kids are worth more than $6. Luckily, I dont own any of the bins. But this incident just concerns me. Is anything being done to Lowes or the manufacturer of this product that put our kids at risk?
