Restaurant Employee Robbed While Making Bank Deposit

Two men are under arrest, accused of robbing a man as he was making a bank deposit for Ruby Tuesday.

Goldsboro police say the holdup happened Monday at the First Citizens Bank. The restaurant employee told police as he was making the deposit, a man wearing a ski mark and armed with a shotgun approached him and demanded the money.

The next day police arrested Rashal Lane, 22, of Charlotte and Gregory Caruth of Goldsboro. Both were charged with armed robbery, while Lane also faces possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He's in jail on a $200,000 secured bond, while Caruth's bond is $50,000.
