Hurricane Ophelia is threatening the coast of North Carolina and it's winds are being felt on the Crystal Coast. Sunday morning Atlantic Beach was relatively empty, but a few folks did venture out to the surf to see the huge waves generated by the storm. People were also making sure their boats were securely tied down, while others made sure their vacation homes were boarded up. Right now there are no plans for any voluntary or mandatory evacuations from the Crystal Coast.
