If Your Children Don't Have Them, They Won't Be Allowed in School For Long

Video will be available shortly.

Medical experts say preventing childhood diseases is easy. All you have to do is have your children properly immunized. And if you want your child to go to school, they'll have to have their shots. Children as young as five years old that are entering Kindergarten must be immunized to help prevent the spread of certain types of diseases. These illnesses include tetanus, diphtheria, polio, and chicken pox. If you live in Pitt County, childhood immunization shots are free at the health department, but you are urged to called to make an appointment.
