It's the Peak of Deer-Car Crashes

Deer hunting season started over the weekend and so will the number of accidents involving deer and vehicles. October through the end of December is the peak of the deer and car crash season. Here in North Carolina the number of accidents has gone up by about 70 percent. Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol say the best way to avoid hitting a deer at night as they graze along the road is to slow down when you see your light reflected in their eyes.
