A former assistant principal at Brinson Elementary in New Bern is on trial on charges of committing sex crimes against a minor. David Webb, 40 years old, spent Tuesday in the Craven County courthouse as more than three dozen charges were brought against him. Part of the testimony came from a cousin of the unidentified victim, who said Webb inappropriately touched the young boy numerous times when he was between the ages of 13 and 15.
