Cotton Still Soaking Wet

With no sunlight in sight, cotton farmers are still being forced to wait before they can harvest cotton that's already waiting to be picked.
Cotton farmers have been waiting over a week now to pick their crop. Cloudy skies and wet weather have turned "ready to be picked" cotton gray, which decreases it's value. Friday, the Pitt Cotton Gin in Bethel, which collects cotton from farmers around a 50 mile radius ran out of cotton modules. That's what they use to store cotton. Now the gin will close for the weekend. Four good days of sunlight and dry weather will help bleach the cotton white again and allow farmers to get back into their cotton fields.
