Faculty at East Carolina University got their own version of a pep talk Monday morning as the new school year gets underway. Monday morning at Wright Auditorium, hundreds of ECU faculty attended their convocation. During the hour-long rally, leaders talked about the accomplishments of last year and the new initiatives in place for this year. As one faculty chair puts it, improvement in the classroom builds upon success in and around the campus. Classes start this Wednesday at the university.
