Riding With the Voice For the Deaf

Video will be available shortly

It wasn't thunder, but the rumbling of motorcycle engines revved up for those left in silence.

Ride With the Voice, is a parade of motorcycles, all gathered to help children at the Eastern North Carolina School For the Deaf in Wilson. The school serves 53 counties, and the money raised will help with the schools athletic teams. Riding with the voice, meant riding with the voice of the pirates Jeff Charles, who said helping these kids just feels right.

Our own Brian Meador hoped on his own motorcycle and took part Saturday. Last year about 73 riders collected more than 3,000 dollars in donations, and this year turnout exceeded 100 riders.
