Coping in Military Hometowns

Video will be available shortly.

How do military families cope as they continue to hear about the mounting military deaths in Iraq? Many in Jacksonville can get help from the local United Services Organization, or USO. That international organization is ready to assist troops and families in peacetime and during conflicts, and has been doing it for more than six decades in Jacksonville. Churches in that military hometown have also formed a base of support outside the base gates since the war on terror began. The local USO and churches also support the troops directly, by sending dozens of care packages to overseas units each week.
