Tuesday we reported on a house Bertie County school officials built with $123,000 in taxpayer money. It's money county officials say was originally requested for computers and other improvements to area schools. WITN has learned the school district now intends to sell the house and that no one else will be living in it from now on. Neighbors tell us they saw mattresses, couches and other furniture being loaded onto a truck Wednesday morning.
