Greenville Police Will Step Up Patrol in Downtown Area

Video will be available shortly.

The Greenville Police Department had a busy weekend with two shootings, three armed robberies and one assault. The department says they are seeing an increase in crime, which begins, many times, in the downtown area late at night and early in the morning. Lawmen have arrested one man for a Sunday morning shooting on Paris Avenue, which began with an argument downtown. To help calm things down, more police officers will soon begin patrolling that area at night especially on the weekends.
