Golfers Hit the Course to Help Student Athletes

Hundreds of golfers hit the links at the Washington Yact Club Saturday afternoon to raise money for the Pirate Club of East Carolina University.
The Pirate Club helps fund athletic scholarships for ECU athletes. A variety of Pirate Club supporters and athletic staff from ECU played in the event.
Organizers were hoping to raise anywhere from $6,000 to $8,000.
