Updated: Fri 9:45 PM, Jul 29, 2005

Thursday, we told you about a reward being offered after a dog was stoned to death in Pitt County. Friday, authorities say three kids, ages six, eight, and nine are the ones responsible. Because the kids are so young they can't be charged, so juvenile petitions are being filed against them. The petitions will be given to the kids’ parents who have to appear in juvenile court. Authorities say eyewitness accounts led them to the kids.
