Can you believe it? There are actually some businesses out there that need a heat wave for their very survival. People are flocking to Briley's produce stand near the corner of Greenville Boulevard and 14th Street to pick farm fresh fruits and vegetables. On the other side of town, Booker Ellis has been selling watermelon on Highway 43 for five years now. Ellis says on hot days like Wednesday, he can sell more than 100 melons. And it's a sweet business indeed even in this heat.
