Another delay in the sentencing for investment broker Joe Jones on drug charges. He's the broker under investigation for allegedly scamming thousands of dollars from hundreds of retirees. Wednesday's sentencing hearing on the drug charges was continued from Monday. But Jones's lawyer, Tommy Moore, said in court that Judge Quentin Sumter had personal ties to Jones and his family, and Judge Sumter had previously noted he wanted to give the case to another judge. So Jones is now scheduled for sentencing on August 8. About 25 of Jones's clients came to court Wednesday and they weren't happy with the continuation. Jones declined our request for an interview.
