Fatal Shooting at Mental Hospital

One person was killed and another injured in a shooting Friday afternoon Cherry Psychiatric Hospital in Wayne County. Officials say a 27-year-old man being admitted with the help of an Onslow County sheriff's deputy got a hold of the deputy's gun and shot a 44-year-old employee. The employee was taken to the hospital; the alleged shooter was killed. The hospital is on lockdown.
