Any area can be a target of terrorism, including a hospital. That's why officials at Pitt County Memorial Hospital have an emergency plan in place should disaster strike. While hospital officials didn't want to divulge too much information, Jim Riggs did tell us the hospital has a command center with several televisions, dry erase boards and other planning equipment to act out their emergency response plan. Riggs says the hospital's emergency response plan is evaluated and updated if needed, at least once a year.
