Chilling 911 calls from the shooting inside a Jacksonville Wal-Mart convey the terror those inside must have been feeling.

Jacksonville police released those tapes today.

Several 911 calls were being made as police say 18-year-old Ejijah Payne, an employee of the Wal-Mart on Yopp Road, opened fire while holding fifteen people hostage.

Police say Payne left the store on a break, got a sawed-off shotgun from his vehicle and returned with his face painted black and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

No one was injured by the gunfire and Payne remains in jail on multiple charges.
