A man police say forged a prescription for pain medication is now charged with prescription drug fraud.
New Bern police say they arrested 22 year-old Corey Best at the CVS Pharmacy on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. That is the third pharmacy where officers say he tried to get the drug.
Best is charged with three counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and three counts of common law forgery.
