Fetus Found In Trash Can
A tip from a concerned citizen led police to the apartment where a fetus was found in a trashcan.

La Grange police in Lenoir County made an unsettling discovery Thursday: a human fetus. Police say they got a call Thursday from a concerned citizen, claiming a baby was in a trashcan. Officers responded to 202 apartment B North Wooten Street in La Grange, where they found a twenty-week-old deceased fetus. An autopsy was ordered and the mother was also identified and located, but has not been arrested pending the ongoing investigation.
