Possible Greenville Curfew?

Video will be available shortly.

A curfew could be part of the answer to Greenville's downtown crime problems. That's one approach being researched by city police and Citizens United Against Violence, a coalition of community leaders formed after a string of incidents this summer, reportedly related to young people and gang activity. So far, the group is not advocating a curfew, but is interested in implementing some new polices that will require and assist parents and the community to take control of a situation many feel has gotten out of the control of police alone. Part of the assessment going on right now is trying to get a handle on just how much gang activity there is, and just what parts of the city are targets for illegal activity.
