A fugitive wanted in a Wake County shooting has been captured in Eastern Carolina. New Bern Police say they detained 24-year-old Wade Koonce Friday when they responded to a call from Craven Regional Medical Center that a person was roaming the hospital without proper identification. That person was identified as Koonce. Police say he had drug paraphernalia on him. He will now be sent back to Wake County.
