Lawmen say a 15-year-old girl was raped and that they now have her accused assailant in custody. Atlantic Beach authorities say that there were witnesses to the crime. However, they're still searching for another man named Jesse, who is accused of being an accomplice to the crime. Twenty-year-old Nicholas Paul Pagani has been charged with statutory rape. Police say during a family vacation last Friday, the 15-year-old girl met up with a friend at a local park when they were approached by Pagani. Police say Pagani then went with the 15-year-old to the beach, forced her to drink until she passed out and proceeded to have sex with her.
