Terror Alert Raised to Code Orange

The terror alert has now been raised to a Code Orange now for our nation's mass transit systems. In Greenville and across the East the buses continue to run as well as a revving level of anxiety for many bus riders. Although Department of Homeland Security officials say there is no credible threat to the United States transportation system riders are still being urges to take precautions like monitoring there surroundings before and after they ride. And when it comes to reacting local transportation officials say they are always prepared for the unexpected. The raised alert applies to subways and metropolitan bus systems, inner city and regional passenger rails, but not airlines according to the Department of Homeland Security.
