As oil prices skyrocket, the cost of flying is also soaring. Two of the nation's largest airlines just raised round-trip ticket prices by as much as 50 dollars.
This is the second round of fare increases led by United Airlines in the past few weeks.

The carriers are passing on the cost of fuel. Just like with gasoline, when oil prices rise, so does the cost of jet fuel.
This is the fourth week in a row that carriers have raised ticket prices.
