A Pitt County woman has been arrested for financial identity theft but not before leaving at least nine victims in her wake. Linda Faye Walston of Ayden was arrested after authorities say she used several victims’ names, along with either their social security number or their drivers license number to buy numerous electronics, including satellite systems and cell phones. The sheriff's department says they have no idea how long Walston has been doing this, or how many people have been affected.
