Two young boys are in good condition and their mother is in critical condition after she allegedly threw them from a freeway overpass during rush hour this morning in Dallas before leaping off herself.
Police say one of the boys has a broken arm after surviving the 22-foot fall. A police officer tells The Dallas Morning News "It's a miracle both kids weren't hit directly by a passing car."
The woman was hit by a vehicle after she landed on the freeway below the overpass.
Police say the mother and the boys, ages 6 and 8, were in a car with a man when there was some sort of altercation. The three got out and the man drove off before this morning's incident. Police are now looking for the man.
