Greenville police say one of two murder suspects who has been on the run for nearly a month is now in custody.
Police arrested 16-year-old Rakeen James Gardener Thursday night. Gardener and his brother, 18-year-old Jashawn Gardner, are suspected of two fatal gang-related shootings in Greenville last month.
Twenty-two-year-old Maurice Bennet and 19-year-old Malcolm Barnhill were shot to death on Wautaga Avenue on June 4. Police are still searching for Jashawn Gardner.
