The 2005 Fountain Superboat International Grand Prix got underway Friday morning with the kilo run. About 15 different boats from across the country took part. All those participating took their boats to the limit for one kilometer in an effort to break speed records in their own boat class. Nearly 50 boats will take to the water Sunday for the main event which begins at 1 p.m.
