Three Violent Crimes in Two Days for Greenville

Greenville Police have their hands full with a number of crimes of their own. Police there are investigating two shootings, both into occupied homes. Police say the first happened Friday at around one in the afternoon at 204 South Memorial Drive. The second happened Saturday at 4:30 in the morning at 301-A Watauga Avenue. People were at home during the shootings, but luckily no one was hit. Police are also investigating an armed robbery from the Piggly Wiggly from Friday night. Police say someone walked into the store on Dickinson Avenue pulled a gun at a store employee and demanded money. Its unclear how much the gunman got away with.
