Thousands of folks once again took to Jacksonville's Riverwalk Crossing Park, for the final day of the 2005 Riverwalk Festival.
And, by-far the best weather of the first four Riverwalk events brought out the largest turnout ever. Organizers hoped more than 25,000 would come to see their progress in bringing business and people back to downtown Jacksonville, and to check out the cleanup of the New River waterfront. Saturday night ended with an outdoor movie and fireworks, and lots of great food, crafts, and plenty of things for families and kids seemed to be a big hit as the Riverwalk Festival wrapped up its two day run on Sunday. And WITN-7 was once again a proud sponsor, along with Jacksonville's BOLD, Bettering Our Local Downtown.
