Cheese Sold in Mexican Stores Is Being Recalled

The North Carolina Agriculture Department has recalled a brand of shredded cheese sold in Mexican stores, after finding a sample containing Salmonella. A contaminated one pound package of Queso el Nica cheese was found in a store in Wake County. The department has asked the Charlotte based cheese-maker to stop processing and distributing the food. The cheese was shipped from Florida, but officials say it's still unclear where it was made.
