Beach Buggy Patrol

The North Carolina Beach Buggy Association hopes everyone will be responsible and pick up after themselves. Saturday, they passed out trash bags at public access ramps from Oregon Inlet to Ocracoke. Since 1983 they've partnered with the National Park Service to do three major clean-ups a year, with the next one scheduled for November. The North Carolina Beach Buggy Association is made up of mostly pick-ups and S.U.V.s, with few true "Dune Buggies" nowadays. They feel it's everyone's responsibility to leave the beach just a little cleaner than when they get there.
