Officials say a motorcyclist died after losing control and slamming into the back of a parked vehicle in Washington. It happened at the 300 block of 9th and Mayo streets. Just after 2 p.m., the driver of a burgundy Chrysler mini-van says the biker lost control and slid into the back of her parked vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle, 25-year-old Anthony Terell Knight of Washington was later pronounced dead at Beaufort County Hospital. Lawmen say speed was a factor.
