The city of Greenville says you may want to get used to seeing some closed roads. The city has a number of street resurfacing projects, and parking improvement projects underway forcing the closure of a number of roads this summer. Reade Street was closed Saturday, and Sunday Cotanche Street closed at 6 a.m., and will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday morning. The closure runs through most of the downtown from 5th Street to 1st Street. To find out more about which roads will be closed in the future, you can contact the Greenville Public Works Department.
