The weather didn't cooperate for Downtown Alive in Jacksonville Friday night.
The threat of rainy weather had volunteers and staffers at BOLD--Bettering Our Local Downtown--pulling the plug on the outdoor concert series. Downtown Alive is a free concert series, but donations and some profits from concessions help with redevelopment efforts. That is, when they can beat the rain to get folks downtown. BOLD will try again next Friday night to get one more concert in, before the big Riverwalk Festival later this month.
