Almost three weeks have passed since a Tyrrell County man was last seen, and his family still holds out hope.
Craig Swain of Columbia was last seen February 2nd.
Authorities believe he was driving his father's truck that was involved in a police chase later that night. Police say the driver of that truck ran from police and was never found. Deputies say there may be foul play involved, and his family says Swain has never done anything like this before.
"It's been hard, holding on....trying to hope for the best...tiresome. Any help that we can receive in any form or fashion that we can receive help to get some answers. If someone is watching or listening to this report can help us solve this situation....most of all, bring him home to us, but also be prepared for anything else," say Izen Swain, the missing man's wife.
Swain is 39 years old, 5'8" and weighs 165 pounds.
Because Swain was last seen in Washington County, the sheriff's office there is spearheading the missing person case. Investigators say they have conducted searches of the area with aircraft, watercraft and specialized K-9 units, all which have come up empty.
Anyone with information on Craig Swain is urged to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
