Special Monument Unveiled Monday in Washington

Video will be available shortly.

Veterans gathered in Washington Monday to not only honor those who have served and died for our country, but also those who were wounded. The Disabled American Veterans led Monday's ceremony at the Veterans Park on East Third Street. During the ceremony, onlookers listened to special music, poetry, as well as prayers for loved ones lost or missing in action. The ceremony also included the unveiling of a special monument to the park, which represents the strong protecting the weak.
