Hot dogs, hamburgers, ketchup, mustard, buns, chips, sodas and more, all of them big sales items this Memorial Day weekend. But as store managers know, mother nature has a big impact on their bottom line because people spend less when it could rain.
Store managers rely on some of the Memorial Day weekends of the past to gauge just how much food the everyday public is going to consume this holiday, and they say they have plenty left.
