Lawmen say a traffic stop Thursday led to the recovery of several thousands of dollars worth of stolen items from a middle school in Wayne County.

Officials say Delbert Orlando Owens of Goldsboro was arrested around 1:30 Thursday afternoon after the car he was driving was reported stolen. Lawmen say almost $5,000 worth of computers, DVDs, televisions and other equipment taken from the Norwayne Middle School in a Wednesday night burglary was recovered from the back of the stolen vehicle.
