Camp Lejeune Doesn't Lose Much and Gains a Lot in BRAC

They tuned into the pentagon's news conference early Friday at the Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce. But President Mona Padrick says the losses of military positions is not all bad news. That's because the U.S. Marine Corps has decided to move several thousand new troops in new battalions into Camp Lejeune, outside of the BRAC process. The chamber is planning an official announcement ceremony along with Camp Lejeune, to welcome those new troops, sometime next month.
