Local Fisherman Dies at Sea

Tragedy on the high seas as a local fisherman looses his life while fishing off the coast of New Jersey. Brian Lewis, 43 years old from Beaufort, was captain of the commercial fishing boat the Leslie and Charles. This week authorities say Lewis and his crew were scallop fishing when the captain began making needed repairs and fell to his death. The North Carolina Fisheries Association says commercial fishing is one of the most dangers jobs next to logging, and mining.
