Are We Really Paying That Much for Gas?

Video will be available shortly.

Gas prices have fallen a few cents in the last few days but none the less, it's still at the highest levels we've ever seen. With that in mind, we went to a local grocery store to compare prices of items you buy everyday to gasoline that costs over two dollars a gallon. Shampoo averages $40 a gallon, milk $3.50 a gallon, and toothpaste over $40 a gallon. According to the government's annual forecast, the average price of gasoline in the U.S. is expected to rise to $2.35 by the end of May and then ease later this summer.
