Flips, Twists, and Turns in Air Show

The third and final day of the 2005 Air Show at Marine Corps Airstation Cherry Point has come to a close, but not without thrilling thousands of spectators first.

Officials say the air show, which WITN proudly helped sponsor, brought in nearly 100,000 people Saturday, and Sunday wasn't much different as thousands came to see stunt flights, gliders, and of course the Blue Angels. But Sunday was also about family, as many of the spectators pointed out this Mother's Day.

The shows wrapped up around 4:30 p.m., and if you missed the show you're out of luck. It won't be back again until 2007.
