New Trial For Mother Accused Of Killing Newborn In Microwave

A judge has ordered a new trial for an Ohio woman accused of killing her month-old baby by burning her in a microwave.

Judge John Kessler declared a mistrial Monday in Dayton after hearing testimony from new defense witnesses that bolster 27-year-old China Arnold's claims that she is innocent.

The infant, Parris Talley, died in August 2005.

Arnold was arrested a year later after an intensive investigation. She will remain in jail pending a new trial.
