A disturbing case from Emerald Isle in Carteret County. Sergeant Robert Melroy Price, who is based at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station in Havelock, was arrested Saturday in Emerald Isle where he lives. Lawmen say Price met the girl in an Internet chat room in the fall of 2004, but it wasn't until last week the two met face to face. Authorities say price picked the girl up and took her to his home and had sex with her. Police say one of the family members found out she had been to his house to have drinks. His case is scheduled to go before a grand jury in June.
