A father in Ludwigshafen, Germany was forced to throw his infant son from a fourth-story window of a burning apartment building.
Miraculously, a person on the street below caught the baby. It isn't yet known if the baby's parents survived.
Officials have confirmed five other children, a pregnant woman and three more adults died in the flames.
The building had been crammed with people watching a religious festival in the street below.
The tragedy is the worst to happen in the city of Ludwigshafen since
World War Two.
