Relay for Life

Volunteers in purple are strutting their stuff for cancer survivors and victims in Beaufort County. Washington High School is hosting the annual Relay for Life walk. The event got underway Friday night and will run through Saturday. This year over 300 cancer survivors will participate in the relay. Others cancer patients who are walking hope to be survivors too. This is Beaufort County's ten year anniversary of the walk. Officials say they're raised over $1 million for the American Cancer Society in that time.
