A Beaufort County woman came home to find she had been burglarized and the suspected burglar was still there. Ricky Wayne Smith, 39 years old, is charged with burglary, larceny, and obtaining property by false pretences. Lawmen say the victim of the Chocowinity robbery acted promptly and called lawmen after yelling at him to leave.
Authorities also say smith faces other charges in Arkansas.
